Flyboarding Scotland

TRY FLYBOARDING IN SCOTLAND

The perfect launchpad for anyone in Scotland or the far north of England, your Dumfries experience will see you flying like a bird and swimming like a dolphin in no time! So let’s get you airborne so you can see why flyboarding is considered the most exciting water sport in the world!

Upon arrival you’ll be given an introductory safety and equipment briefing before getting kitted out in your wetsuit. From there you’re out on the water learning the basics such as levitating, taxiing and control the turn. After that comes the classic flyboarding moves such as the corkscrew and the tornado – should you be ready to try some more advanced techniques.

And as you’ll be flyboarding directly across from the Inn on the Loch, you’ll find some hearty meals to address that hard earned appetite you will have worked up! So whether you fly alone, or bring some family and friends to watch or join in, your flyboarding experience will be an unforgettable day out!

With your feet positioned as if you were in a natural standing position, lock your knees gently, straighten your back and let your arms hang down by your sides. You should be in a relaxed yet controlled state.

Once you have levitated clear of the surface you will be able to start making the flyboard go where you want it to. To go forward lean onto your toes, for backwards lean onto your heels.

To change direction turn your head in the direction you wish to go, drop your shoulder down, lean on the leading leg and bend the opposite one.
