FLYBOARDING ON TATTERSHALL LAKES
Perfect for anyone in the Midlands and their surroundings, the gorgeous setting of Tattershall Lakes, framed by rolling green, lazy willows and holiday accommodation provides a perfect setting to discover the freedom of flyboarding.
After your safety and equipment briefing it will be time to get you onto the water. If your excitement levels weren’t sky high, they soon will be as you feel the powerful jets of water start to power you above the surface of the water. The first ten minutes will be spent getting to grips with the basics, such as taxiing, levitating and turning the flyboard. After that, it is up to you and your expert instructor to start building your confidence – maybe it’ll be time to go a little higher, before swooping back down towards the lake. Who knows, maybe you’ll even have time for one go at a classic flyboarding move such as the tornado or corkscrew!
When you book with us you will have ten months to select a date for your Tattershall flyboarding experience. Sessions are held most weekends with numerous flight times throughout the day. If you are looking at a larger group booking, please get in touch to discuss with us.
Controlling the Flyboard
With your feet positioned as if you were in a natural standing position, lock your knees gently, straighten your back and let your arms hang down by your sides. You should be in a relaxed yet controlled state.
Once you have levitated clear of the surface you will be able to start making the flyboard go where you want it to. To go forward lean onto your toes, for backwards lean onto your heels.
To change direction turn your head in the direction you wish to go, drop your shoulder down, lean on the leading leg and bend the opposite one.
